Art Portfolio & Critique Sessions

Art portfolio and critique sessions are a great way to expand your creative work professionally. Art Portfolio sessions are excellent for high school students applying to art school and studio art majors applying to graduate school. With Danica Oudeans' decade of experience teaching at the University she will help you put together a professional application package. Critique sessions are a excellent for emerging and professional artists and artist groups to receive high level formal and conceptual feedback on their creative practice. Danica has helped dozens of artists flourish to build conceptual depth and formal complexity into their creative practice.

INDIVIDUAL & SMALL GROUP CRITIQUES

VIRTUAL OR IN PERSON

$50/hour (single person)

$70/hour (2-4 people)

Learn to professionally assess your work by combining creative lessons with critique sessions. Critique sessions will help you identify strengths and weaknesses in your creative practice, give you a chance to practice speaking about your work, and mature your personal style.

*In studio visits may be available at additional cost depending upon location

 

VIRTUAL or IN PERSON PORTFOLIO REVIEW

$50 per hour

Portfolio reviews are an excellent way to receive independent feedback on your creative body of work. They are especially helpful when trying to choose which works to submit for art school, scholarship, gallery, and grant applications.  Danica can also assist you in the development of the written portion of these applications guiding you through approaches to writing artist statements, bios, and project proposals. 

 

LARGE GROUP CRITIQUES

$150 per hour at your selected site plus travel costs

Group critiques are a great way for a group of artists to get a lot of feedback about their work in a short amount of time from a wide array of perspectives. Danica will lead your group through a series of organized and free flowing exercises that will give each artist individualized feedback from the entire group.  Danica has been a guest artist for school classes, artist groups, and fine art exhibitions.
